PATHOLOGY

Law and Forensic medicine have been used together for many years, the association between the two helps find specific evidence to aid the investigation.  Pathology is a medical branch that has to deal with injury or diseases that change the body, and forensic pathology is the examination of the victim’s body during an investigation to help with information. Forensic pathologists separate into too types of pathology; clinical and anatomical. Clinical pathology is the testing of items such as bodily fluids, hair, fibres, and skin epithelia, all items go through testing in a laboratory. Anatomical pathology is more of a physical element of pathology, it deals with the structure changes to the body like; the reason a bone broke, puncture wounds, bullet shots, and bruises. Almost all  pathologists specialize in both anatomical and cinical pathology. Becoming a forensic pathologists a medical degree is a must, after you are finished medical school before you are hireable you must complete years in fellowship, depending on the community.
