Bases Of Forensic Pathology

Forensic Pathology is a specialized type of pathology that examines a body (cadaver) that is suspected as a victim of crime (forensic). The examination of a body is to decide the victim’s cause of death and to verify the identity of the body. As requested by a coroner (medical examiner) a forensic pathologist will complete an autopsy of the victim’s body. With the help of the autopsy, investigators will be led on the right track to finding more about the crime. Forensic pathologists can decipher what happened and how the crime happened. Also forensic pathologist can tell the time of death, cause of death, identity of the victim, weapons, difference in body, and manner of death.
