AUTOPSIES

Picture
The reason for an autopsy is to examine a discovered dead body to determine the cause of the death and quickly create a permanent legal record on the gross and minute anatomical peculiarities of a recently exposed dead body. Autopsies are preformed usually at a local hospital or a county morgue, sometimes the autopsy can be done at private offices or funeral homes. Psychological autopsies are sometimes completed by pathologists but the legal system is unaccepting of them.
When firearms, child abuse or a stabbing occurs X-ray examinations can be very useful. Organs can show the any trace of drug, alcohol or toxics that can help decipher if the death has been from an overdose or a poison. Since the being of autopsies, examining inside the stomach can help with deciding cause and time of death. During the postmortem exam medical inspections will justify health conditions, age, race, height, gender, etcetera.   Manner of death can very between accidental, homicide, suicide, natural, and unnatural. Manner of death is different than cause; cause of death is the reason of how the death happened. If a death happens immediately with mechanism it is a manner of death, but when the mechanism can not be decided then the death is an unknown manner of death. When a death is caused by an underlying condition that has been provoked the death is natural. Most deaths that are caused by overdoses are decided as accidental. When the death is of suicide but there was another person when the death happened, it is most likely a homicide if it is an immediate cause of death.
